Kent C. Schulz was a Leadership Alumnus who was always involved in our community and never hesitated to lend a hand. He lost his battle with cancer several years ago and as a tribute to his involvement in Manatee County, the Leadership Manatee Alumni Association created an award which is presented each year to a Leadership alumnus who has demonstrated outstanding service in the community and professional achievement.
